French President Francois Hollande has managed to agree a deal with Russia to share more intelligence and co-ordinate strikes against Islamic State.
This is despite Russian President Vladimir Putin's criticism of America over the downing of a Russian jet by Turkey.
The Russian leader says the US knew the flight path of the aircraft and could have intervened:
"We informed our American colleagues in advance about where, when and on which echelons are pilots would work."
"The American side, which has a coalition in which Turkey takes part, knew about the time and the place where our planes were."
"It was there and then that we got hit."
In spite of that disagreement, the leaders of France and Russia had a successful meeting yesterday.

Coordinated airstrikes on IS by France and Russia are expected to focus on oil supplies.
According to the AP news agency, President Hollande has also warned that the Syrian leader Bashar Al Assad 'has no place' in the country's future.
