The new flyover at Newlands Cross in Dublin is set to open next week.
The National Roads Authority says it expects the free flow junction to open to traffic as early as next Thursday.
The junction will remove the final set of traffic lights on the national network between the Border and Dunkettle in Cork. The flyover crosses the regional R113 Belgard and Fonthill roads.
