Fine Gael is on course to be the biggest party in the Dáil after the general election.
The latest Ipsos/MRBI poll in today's Irish Times shows support for the party has risen two points since September to 30%.
The satisfaction ratings of the government and Enda Kenny have also risen, however support for Labour continues to fall - it is down one to 7%.
Meanwhile Sinn Féin is up two to 21 in the latest poll, Fianna Fáil has dropped one to 19 and support for Independents or others is down two to 23%.
Political Editor of The Irish Times, Stephen Collins, told Newstalk Breakfast that things are looking promising for Enda Kenny:
"Jack O'Connor, the SIPTU General Secretary, spoke not long ago saying Fine Gael could form a single party government on their own and that this would be a dangerous thing for the country - everybody laughed at the time - but actually, if Fine Gael got back up to where they were, 36% in last election, they could be within striking distance of being able to put together a government with Independents, Others and even Labour, if Labour would go into government again."
