Two new polls have found Fianna Fáil to be the most popular party in the country.

The Behaviour and Attitudes poll for The Sunday Times puts the party on 30% - up five points from their last survey.

The poll sees Fine Gael drop one to 25%, Sinn Féin down three at 14%, Labour is up one to 6%, the AAA/PBP is also up one to 5%, while the Independent Alliance is at 4% down two.

The Green Party is down one to 2%, while the Social Democrats are up one to 2%.

While the findings of a Red C survey for The Sunday Business Post puts Fianna Fáil on 29% up three.

Fine Gael is stalled on 26%, while The Independent Alliance has gone up by one point to 5%.

But other Independents - including Communications Minister Denis Naughten and opposition TDs Mick Wallace and Mattie McGrath - are down by four points to 7%.

Sinn Féin meanwhile has dropped by two points to 13%.

But both polls put Fine Gael on 25% and 26% respectively.

Stephen O'Brien of The Sunday Times says Enda Kenny will be hoping for a boost over the summer.
