A female pedestrian has been taken to the Mater hospital after being hit by a truck on Dorset Street, in Dublin city centre.

The incident happened at around 11 O'clock this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene.

AA Roadwatch says the road has now fully reopened, following an earlier closure of the bus lane at the Dorset St /Granby Row junction.
