The family of murdered Vincent Ryan has called for an end to senseless killings on the streets of Dublin.
The 25-year-old was shot several times in Finglas on Monday afternoon.
He later died at the Mater Hospital in Dublin, and gardaí are now investigating his murder.
Mr Ryan was the brother of the former leader of the Real IRA, Alan Ryan, who was shot dead in 2012.
In the statement, the Ryan family refutes the claims that Vincent was involved in the killing of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in Dublin last month.
They are also calling for 'no retaliation' to Vincent's killing.
