Ibrahim Halawa's family says he has 'gone missing' after being moved from his prison in Egypt.
In a statement, Ibrahim's sister Somaia says her brother was moved between prisons last week without the family or the Irish Government being contacted beforehand.
However, it has now been claimed he has been moved again, with the family saying "this time we haven't been told where to find him".
They say they have been in touch with the Government here in an attempt to find out more information about his whereabouts.
Ibrahim (20) has been held in Egypt since he was arrested for taking part in a protest in Cairo in August 2013.
He is due to appear in court in June after his mass trial was postponed for a 13th time in March.
