Former British soldiers who face questioning over their actions on Bloody Sunday have won a case they took against being detained and transferred to Northern Ireland for interview by police.
The High Court in London ruled in favour of the ex-paratroopers, who cannot be named.
The PSNI chief constable wants them brought back for an investigation into whether criminal offences may have been committed by soldiers who used lethal force on Bloody Sunday in 1972.
It follows the November arrest of a former member of the Parachute Regiment in Co Antrim, the first arrest since the inquiry began in 2012.
Police want to question seven former soldiers.
