The former Company Secretary and Head of Compliance at Anglo Irish Bank has appeared in court charged with Revenue offences.

Bernard Daly from Collins Avenue West, Whitehall in Dublin appeared before Dublin District Court this afternoon.

The 65-year-old is accused of hiding a bank account from the taxman and producing incorrect documentation.

He has been granted bail and is due to appear in court again in February.
