Coffee will be free in Dublin's 3FE all day on Friday - and it's for a good cause

Dublin's 3FE has announced that it will be giving its coffee away for free on Friday.

The south Dublin cafe will adopt a Radiohead-style 'pay what you want' model - with all contributions going to help Rashel Winn, a friend of owner Colin Harmon who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Former Anglo boss David Drumm granted bail

David Drumm has been granted bail on over 30 criminal offences alleged to have happened during his final years as CEO of Anglo Irish Bank.

He was extradited back from the US this morning and the State applied for him to be remanded in custody amid concerns he may flee if released on bail.

Mr Drumm smiled and turned to face the public gallery when Judge Michael Walsh said he felt the State’s flight-risk argument didn’t hold up.

A video has surfaced online appearing to show a Kellogg’s factory employee urinating on a cereal conveyor belt from which cereal is packed into boxes for public consumption.

The video, captured on a smartphone in 2014, was recorded at a factory in Memphis, Tennessee. A spokesperson for the company has said Kellogg’s is “outraged by this completely unacceptable situation,” revealing that a criminal investigation into the act has been launched.

The man behind the popular 'Humans of New York' series has published an open letter to Donald Trump, describing the presidential hopeful as "a man who has encouraged prejudice and violence in the pursuit of personal power".
