The Taoiseach will hold talks with the Prime Minister of Japan in Dublin today.

Shinzo Abe is visiting the Republic following his participation at the G8 Summit in Co. Fermanagh earlier this week.

The 2 leaders are expected to discuss trade and cultural relations between Ireland and Japan at today's talks.

The Taoiseach will also brief the Japanese Prime Minister on Ireland's presidency of the EU - and will discuss progress on an EU - Japan Trade Agreement.
