Worried about getting filthy at Electric Picnic? Well fear not.

Organisers have announced the addition of a fully functional laundrette at the festival this year.

People will be able to get their clothes washed for free and will be given a jumpsuit to wear while they are waiting.

There will also be DJs on the laundrette dance floor.

Surf - which is providing the service - says as well as the washing machines and seating area, there will also be one or two yet-to-be revealed surprises.

Kathryn Dodd from Surf says: "This is the first time a full service laundrette has been available to attendees at Electric Picnic, and Surf is delighted to be able to offer a home comfort at a festival that often ends up leaving music fans in need of freshening up".

Electric Picnic, which takes place in Stradbally in Co Laois from September 4th to 6th, is fully sold out.
