A man aged in his 80s has died in a fire in Co Donegal.
He was the sole occupant of the house on Pole Road at Meenmore in Dungloe.
The blaze broke out at around 2.30am this morning.

Attempts were made to revive him at the scene, but he was pronounced dead.
His body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
The fire is not believed to be suspicious, but a full technical examination of the scene will be carried out.
