The economy grew by 1.4% in the third quarter, the highest in the EU.

But it was a slowdown from the GDP growth rates in the first half of the year.

New figures from the Central Statistics Office show growth of 7% in the first nine months of the year and a similar 7% growth, compared to the end of September 2014.
