Kevin Kenny - the deceased - and his brother Stephen were among one of two groups that arrived at the bar just before 9pm.

Within ten minutes there was a fracas outside - which was caught on CCTV.

It is alleged the Kenny brothers chased a man up Sarsfield Road and that they in turn were chased by Craig O'Halloran who is accused of stabbing Kevin Kenny a number of times.

The 32-year-old electrician returned to the front of the pub where he collapsed. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Craig O'Halloran denies murder. The trial is due to last until the end of next week.
