A puppy that was found in Dublin is to be adopted by a garda, after an appeal had no luck in locating his owners.
The dog has since been named 'Snoopy'.
The Gardai say a member of the force from Store Street garda station "fell in love with him and is willing to give him a home".

Snoopy is said to be settling in well. He has no serious injuries and the guards say he is doing well after eating all their ham!
Maybe it is time for the Garda Dog Unit to get a new recruit?
