24 new jobs are on the way to Dublin at a sports science technology company. Kitman Labs - which currently employs 6 people - develops systems to highlight injury risk for professional athletes.
The jobs are to be created over the next three years as the firm expands operations into the UK market.
It comes after the company raised the €475,000 in a combination of private investment and matched funding from the Department of Jobs through Enterprise Ireland.
Welcoming the announcement, Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said "Here is an Irish company which, with the support of my Department and Enterprise Ireland in particular, is developing innovative products, pursuing new markets, and creating new jobs. I commend all involved on their efforts and wish them every success for the future".
Kitman Labs was founded in November 2012 and is based in the Media Cube - which is located on Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology's Kill Avenue campus.
Iarflaith Kelly is CEO of Kitman Labs and says they are looking for a broad range of people.
