Almost 330,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport this June bank holiday weekend.
Passenger figures are up 14% on a like-for-like basis over the same long weekend last year, according to Dublin Airport.
Almost 2,300 flights will arrive and depart in the next three days, which is expected to be the busiest weekend of the year so far.
Meanwhile some 6.8 million passengers have used Dublin Airport in the first four months of the year - which is a 17% increase over last year.
This means that the airport has welcomed an extra 870,000 passengers during the first four months of 2015.
Siobhán O'Donnell from the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) says things are looking up for the tourism sector.
