142 people have been killed after suicide attacks on two mosques in Saana, the capital of Yemen.
Agence France-Presse also reports that at least 300 people have been injured following the attack during Friday prayers.
In an online statement, The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the bombings.
Attackers are said to have hit the Badr and al-Hashoosh mosques, which are believed to be mainly used by supporters of the Houthi rebel group in the country.
Yesterday it was reported that the country's president Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi was evacuated after his palace was targeted by airstrikes.
Aden International Airport in Yemen was also forced to close yesterday after clashes left at least 13 people dead, Al Jazeera reported.
