US presidential hopeful Donald Trump says that he believes that Britain will leave the EU.

Speaking to Piers Morgan the Republican said that he is not endorsing a Brexit, but he thinks the country will leave the Union due to "the craziness that’s going on with migration."

"I think that Britain will end up separating from the EU, that's my opinion. I'm not endorsing it one way or the other but that's my opinion. I think a lot of people want to see that happen," he continued.

The businessman also confirmed his support for a ban all Muslims from entering the US - and added that he believes that there is a "massive Muslim problem" in the UK.

There have been calls to ban the Republican front-runner from speaking in the UK after claiming that some areas with large Islamic populations in the UK are no-go areas for police.

"People in the UK generally, in fact all over Europe, were incensed at the concept of me being banned for speaking really what they said was the truth," the New Yorker said, commenting on the controversy.

"A lot of people and I mean thousands and thousands of people were tweeting saying you’re right, you’re right Mr Trump, your right and so I don’t know what's going on over there but I can tell you there is some unrest," he added.

Bankers

Meanwhile, a new poll has revealed that two-thirds of British banks fear a Brexit.

60% of bankers polled said that the UK will be “significantly’ less well-off if it leaves.
