Arnotts has removed a t-shirt showing two children watching a pole dancer with their father after hundreds of complaints were registered with the department store.
The t-shirt design was brought to the attention of Ruhama - an organisation that works with women in prostitution. After they posted it on their facebook page a huge number of complaints were lodged with the Dublin store.
The t-shirt carried the slogan 'my first pole dance'.
Really surprised to see @ArnottsDublin selling these T-shirts. #normalisationofsextrade #objectificationofwomen pic.twitter.com/k04CjXInhx

Geradine Rowley is communications and policy manager with Ruhama:
On Facebook this morning, Arnotts said that "a t-shirt that we stock was brought to our attention yesterday evening. We are aware the t-shirt has caused offence and it since been removed from the department. We have acted immediately and apologise for any offence caused."
