The image of a defaced Labour election poster was uploaded to Reddit by ZonkedZombiein, entitled "At least they're honest about something."

The election poster was apparently posted near University College Cork where someone took the opportunity to have their say about the jobs situation in Ireland.

It has received a mixed response online with some seeing the humour and others taking it a little more seriously. 

"Canadian here: if you guys find where we're keeping the jobs, let me know."

"I hate how they try to claim as though it were them who created them. How many jobs were lost in that time?"
