The jury in Kieran Greene’s murder trial has heard Patricia O'Connor's daughter Louise told gardaí she didn't harm a hair on her head.

Louise O’Connor denies impeding Mr Greene’s apprehension or prosecution for the alleged murder of her mother at their home in Dublin in 2017.

Kieran Greene is accused of murdering Patricia O’Connor in the home they shared at Mountainview Park in Rathfarnham in May 2017.

Her daughter, Mr Greene’s partner Louise, was arrested in September 2017.

She said living with her mother was like “walking on eggshells” but despite everything, she said she loved her and wouldn’t harm a hair on her head.

She claimed she didn't know what happened to her after she stormed out of the house on the evening in question.

After hearing shouting and a door slamming, she claimed she saw her walking up the road with a suitcase.

Ms O'Connor insisted she didn't hear her coming back that night, and didn't know what happened until Mr Greene told them he killed her two weeks later.

She said she wanted answers too, like why he did it, and why he didn't call an ambulance or gardaí.

She, along with her ex Keith Johnston and their daughter Stephanie have pleaded not guilty to impeding Mr Greene’s apprehension or prosecution.
