Damien Rice has announced a new album after an eight year absence on the music scene. The Irish singer-songwriter last album 9 was released in 2006.
Rice, who made his name with the brilliant O, recently appeared at a Whelan's surprise gig to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
The new album,‘My Favourite Faded Fantasy’, was co-produced by the highly esteemed Rick Rubin of Def Jam Records and is due for release on October 31st.
