A new report claims to show how expensive it is to live near your train stop.
Property firm Daft says it has calculated the cost of a three-bed semi-detached house in Dublin according to proximity to rail services.
It found that commuters living on the Dublin coastline pay on average the most for a property.

Sandymount in Dublin 4 is the most expensive location on the DART line - with an average asking price of €727,000.

Stations close to the coast occupy the most expensive slots with Dalkey (€690,000), Sandycove & Glasthule (€617,000), Salthill Monkstown (€658,000) and Sydney Parade (€652000) completing a DART top five.
Properties close to the Ranelagh Luas station command the highest average price on the green line, at €650,000.

Meanwhile those living in the city centre pay most on the Luas red line, with homes near the Spencer Dock stop averaging €573,000.

The sample of nearly 10,000 properties comes from the 12-month period to the end of September 2015.
