A man and a woman are due in court this morning charged in connection with the discovery of a young girl with serious injuries at a house in Dublin.

Emergency services found the nine-year-old girl after they were called to the house at Sandy Lane in Rush on Tuesday July 2nd.

She was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital for treatment.

A man and woman, aged in their 30s, are due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with the incident.

Gardaí said the investigation is ongoing and no further information is currently being released.
