There have been 313 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ireland.

Three further deaths have also been confirmed.

There have now been 75,507 cases confirmed since the pandemic began, as well as 2,120 deaths.

Of today's new cases, 70 were in Dublin, 31 in Mayo, 21 in Kilkenny, 19 in Donegal, 18 in Laois and the remaining 154 cases  spread across 19 other counties.

As of 2pm this afternoon, there were 197 coronavirus patients being treated in Irish hospitals - including 35 in intensive care.

Meanwhile, the latest figures show the 14-day incidence rate has risen slightly, and is now at 81 per 100,000 population.

Recent days had shown the rate at just under 80 per 100,000.
