A Cork teenager is being treated in hospital for suspected spinal injuries after she fell from the roof of a nightclub during a night out.

The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday morning a club in Kinsale.

The 18-year-old was airlifted from Cork University Hospital to the Mater Spinal Injury Unit in Dublin following the accident.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
