It is believed a man found dead at a house in Cork this morning died after falling through a glass porch.

The 36-year-old was discovered at a house in Glanworth in the early hours of this morning by another man.

The alarm was raised and emergency services attended the scene.

Efforts were made to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem will be carried out later at Cork University Hospital - which is expected to rule out foul play.
