Drugs worth €110,000 have been seized in county Tipperary.

The drugs were seized after Gardaí on patrol stopped and searched a car in the Garracummer area of Kilcommon.

Cocaine with an estimated value of €70,000 and cannabis herb with an estimated value of €40,000 were seized.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene.

He is being held at Tipperary Town Garda Station.

The investigation is ongoing.
