Smuggled cigarettes worth approximately €357,000 have been found hidden in a load of hot tubs at Rosslare Europort, Co Wexford.
The cigarettes were discovered on a Lithuanian-registered truck that arrived from Cherbourg in France, shortly before midnight on Saturday night.
The driver of the truck, a man in his 20s, was questioned but was later released.
Revenue officers identified the truck as suspicious during routine profiling.
The scanner was deployed and the contraband was discovered hidden in a number of hot tubs.
The cigarettes were branded 'Minsk Superslip', 'Minsk Short' and 'NZ Gold Superslip'.
