Smuggled cigarettes worth approximately €357,000 have been found hidden in a load of hot tubs at Rosslare Europort, Co Wexford.

The cigarettes were discovered on a Lithuanian-registered truck that arrived from Cherbourg in France, shortly before midnight on Saturday night.

The driver of the truck, a man in his 20s, was questioned but was later released.
