Gardai have extended the period of detention of a man in his 50s, being questioned about the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl in Co Louth 18 years ago.
Ciara Breen was last seen at her home at Bachelors Walk in Dundalk in the early hours of February 13th 1997.
Gardai arrested a man in his 50s this morning after new information came to light.
He's being questioned at Drogheda Garda Station.
Gardaí are again appealing to anyone who might have information about Ciara's disappearance to come forward.
