Charities are calling on the Government to restore their funding, rather than focusing on tax cuts and capital spending in next weekÂ’s Budget.
Six networks comprising 1700 charities in the disability, voluntary and youth sectors say crucial services are at breaking point after years of cuts.
A survey this summer saw that 42 percent of charities had seen a fall in their income, while almost three quarters saw a rise in demand for their services.
