The Chairman of the Board of a South Dublin Primary school has resigned over distributing pro life leaflets to young pupils.

Eddie Shaw says he's stepping down with immediate effect from the Board of the Harold School in Glasthule.

And he apologised unreservedly to teachers and parents.
