There are calls for the resignation of the chairman of a Catholic primary school board in south Co. Dublin.

Eddie Shaw decided to distribute leaflets to children at the Harold School in Glasthule promoting the recent pro-life 'Vigil for Life' rally.

A number of parents are the school say it was inappropriate.
