The Labour Leader Joan Burton says an apparent survey predicting the the party's standing in the next election doesn't exist.

Last week, details of an internal poll were leaked indicating that the party would lose 20 Dail seats in the upcoming General Election.

However, it's reported that the leak was discussed at last Wednesday's Labour Party Parliamentary Party meeting.

The Sunday Times reports that the finger has been pointed at the Environment Minister Alan Kelly as the source of the leak within the party.

Tanaiste Joan Burton says, although much analysis is undertaken by political parties, she doesn't believe the alleged survey exists:
