A British man who contracted the Ebola virus while in Sierra Leone has been released from hospital.
The 29-year-old volunteer nurse was flown back to the UK for treatment on August 24 after contracting the virus.
The Royal Free Hospital in north London said he was being discharged today after successful treatment in one of its specialist units.
Mr Pooley, from Eyke in Suffolk, was airlifted back to Britain in a specially equipped C17 RAF aircraft.
At a news conference at the hospital, he said time in isolation in a clear plastic isolation tent was "strange".
"It's like being in a fish tank in a way. Because it's all clear plastic around you I wouldn't say it was claustrophobic, but it was strange.
"Everything goes on in that tiny little space, there's not much privacy or anything like that."
He also thanked hospital staff for the "world-class care" he received, saying he feels "wonderfully lucky" to have survived.
