The O'Donnell family have more time in Gorse Hill after the Court of Appeal reserved judgement in the case until next month.
Solicitor Brian O'Donnell is appealing a High Court trespass order on the family home in Killiney in Dublin.
The ongoing row centres on a debt of over €70m Mr O’Donnell and his wife owe Bank of Ireland.
Lawyers for the bank maintain that the receiver to the property was properly appointed, and provided the court of Appeal with documentation to support this.
While Brian O'Donnell, who's representing himself, says that under a charter dating back to 1783 the appointment of the receiver was not properly executed.
Judge Mary Finlay Geoghegan reserved judgement until April 15th, and extended the stay on the order to vacate Gorse Hill until then.
