Gardaí have sealed off a house in Drogheda this evening following the discovery of a body.

The remains were discovered on the grounds of the house at around 4pm, after members of the public alerted the local fire service.

The house has been sealed off and the State Pathologist has been notified.

The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
