During a radio interview in the US, comedian Bill Cosby has refused to address sexual assault allegations made against him.
Barbara Bowman alleges the actor "won my trust as a 17-year-old aspiring actress in 1985, brainwashed me into viewing him as a father figure, and then assaulted me multiple times."
77-year-old Mr Cosby appeared with his wife Camille on NPR's Weekend Edition earlier today to discuss their loan of pieces of African Artwork to an exhibition in Washington DC. Host Scott Simon brought up the allegations at the end of the interview, saying "this question gives me no pleasure Mr Cosby, but there have been serious allegations raised about you in recent days."
Mr Simon's questions and comments were met with moments of silence from Mr Cosby. You can listen to the clip below:
