Well, this was unexpected.
It has been confirmed that none other than Barack Obama will be appearing on the new Coldplay album, A Head Full Of Dreams, due to be released on December 4th.
For anyone expecting the POTUS to be going all out and rocking out with his own verse, Chris Martin clarified the situation for The Sun: "We have a tiny clip of the president singing ‘Amazing Grace’ at that church, because of the historical significance of what he did and also that song being about, ‘I’m lost but now I’m found.’”
This would make it closer to in nature to when writer, activist and TED talker Chimanda Ngozi Adichie appeared on Beyonce's song Flawless.
Which segues nicely to the early clip of "Hymn For The Weekend", which features Beyonce and her daughter Blue Ivy duetting with Coldplay on another track on the album.

The album is also set to feature Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and others. You can listen to clips from each of the songs on the album on the band's Instragram account here.
