The Oireachtas Banking Inquiry is set to hold an unscheduled meeting tonight, amid fears it might miss its final deadline.
Members have until tomorrow evening to put the finishing touches to their report, which must be sent to other parties over the weekend.
But members are concerned that the deadline might not be met, as work on some sections was still continuing this afternoon.
