An independent TD has threatened to report some of his colleagues to the gardaí for the use of cannabis.

Luke 'Ming' Flangan made the claim during a Dail debate on his proposal to legalise the drug for personal and medical use.

The independent TD says his colleagues shouldn't condemn the public to a criminal record unless they're happy to have one themselves.
