At least 21 people are dead following two car bomb attacks in Somalia.
One bomb exploded in Mogadishu, and another at a military training base in the southern port city of Kismayu, according to Reuters.
Al Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab says the militant Islamist group is behind the bombing in Kismayu.

The attack took place as soldiers were lining up for training, killing 16 Somali soldiers and injuring 21 others.
Five civilians were killed and seven injured in the Mogadishu explosion, which took place at a busy junction in the city this evening.
