The Minister for Arts has again refused to name the Fine Gael official who arranged John McNulty's appointment to the board of the Irish Museum of Modern Art.

Heather Humphreys says she does not want to "scapegoat" a party official, when it was her who made the appointment.

Speaking in the Seanad tonight, the minister again defended appointing Mr McNulty to the board of IMMA, just days before he ran for the Seanad by-election
