An explosive device has been made safe by the army bomb disposal team in Co Wexford.
It was discovered outside a house in Ballycanew just after midday.
The area was sealed off - a cordon was put in place and a number of nearby houses were evacuated.

The device was made safe at the scene without the need for a controlled explosion.
The scene was declared safe at 2pm.
So far this year the army bomb disposal team has been called out 38 times to deal with eight viable devices.
