Police in the North are appealing for information following a security alert inside the grounds of a police station in County Antrim earlier this morning.

The PSNI says two devices were thrown into the grounds of Ballycastle station -one was a viable incendiary device and the other was a hoax.

The device was made safe by army bomb disposal experts.

A number of businesses that had been evacuated have now been reopened.
