Over 1,300 rounds of ammunition have been uncovered in a woodland area in County Tipperary.
A member of the public found bullets in plastic package in the Bishop’s Wood, Dundrum on Saturday.
Gardaí carried out an extended search of the area but found nothing further.

The package contained three bags, each containing a different calibre of bullet. Investigators said they believe the ammunition was there for some time.
The bullets were taken to Tipperary Garda Station and have now been sent for a forensic analysis.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
