Amal Clooney is to represent 10 men who allege they were tortured by security forces in the North in 1971 - when they were held without trial.
The so-called "Hooded Men" have the backing of the Irish Government in their case against the UK at the European Court of Human Rights.
They claim they were hooded, sleep deprived, starved, forced to listen to loud static and in some cases, thrown from helicopters.
