Ryanair and Aer Lingus have both cancelled flights tomorrow due to the planned industrial action by air traffic controllers in France.
Aer Lingus have cancelled two flights to and from Dublin, while Ryanair have cancelled a total of 250 flights in across Europe.
Aer Lingus told Newstalk.com: "Due to planned industrial action by French Air Traffic Controllers tomorrow, 8th April we have been forced to cancel the following services: EI 522 Dublin to Paris, EI 523 Paris to Dublin.”
The airline said that customers affected by the cancellation “may change to another flight using the manage booking facility on aerlingus.com or if they wish to cancel their travel plans may use our online facility to request a full refund.”
The above flights are the only planned cancellations, with all other flights between Ireland and France set to fly as scheduled.
Ryanair has had to cancel a total of 250 flights across Europe tomorrow due to the strike. A statement from the company went on to attack the striking workers, saying: “It’s grossly unfair that thousands of European travellers will once again have their travel plans disrupted by the selfish actions of a tiny number of French ATC workers.”
